In the San Francisco Bay Area, the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute and
Society can provide the names of qualified psychoanalysts in your vicinity. For
those who cannot afford private fees, treatment is available through the
Low Fee Clinic. Experienced clinicians who are psychoanalysts in training
will often adjust their fees to the needs of the patient. Many graduate analysts,
because of their commitment to community service, also make an effort to treat
patients at a reduced cost.
