Transference, Countertransference, and Enactments in a Clinical Case

Saturday, March 5, 2005
9:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Palo Alto Medical Foundation
795 El Camino Real, Hearst Educ. Center (3rd Floor), Palo Alto

Transference and countertransference are hallmarks of contemporary psychoanalytic practice. Recently, there has been great interest in enactments between clinician and patient as a source of psychological inquiry. This program will feature a case presentation demonstrating these concepts and two experienced analysts will discuss them from varied analytic perspectives. Our moderator will clarify and highlight the discussion's main points and positions. Come join us for a memorial program and tribute to Cleo Eulau, a pioneering social worker, who had a passion for clinical ideas and for bringing people together.
